The Walthers Cornerstone 933-4100 Brick Kilns 2-Pack is an HO scale structure kit and one of the signature buildings of the Cornerstone Brickworks Series. The series models facilities that produced brick and similar products from the 1880s to the 1990s, sized to build a complete operation on most layouts.
Based on the round beehive kilns used to fire brick, clay pipe, tubes and more, the 933-4100 can be built as an earlier coal-fired or a later gas-fired kiln. The authentic design includes an exhaust stack, expansion bands, turnbuckles, gas burners and fine brick detail. The kit supplies parts for two complete kilns, plus 2 large and 5 small brick stacks and 12 pallets for added realism, and is molded in four colors. Each assembled kiln measures 4-7/8 x 2-7/32″ (12.4 x 5.6cm) and the stack measures 15/16 x 15/16 x 4-7/8″ (2.3 x 2.3 x 12.4cm).
